NATIVAR – A dwarf Canadian Hemlock which forms a pyramidal habit of twisted branches and larger needles which decrease in size as they approach the shoot-tips. Grows 3′ high by 20″ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Listed by Spingarn Nursery in 1967.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun to Full Shade.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining, acidic soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay and dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
