White Fir - La Veta
A dwarf White Fir which starts off more prostrate in style, then transitioning to a flat-topped mound before becoming a globe shape. Long, powdery-blue needles create a layered look. Grows 2′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a witch's broom by Jerry Morris of Colorado near La Veta Pass, Colorado before 1998.
Special Notes
Exposure: Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming only when needed.
