Meet the tallest tree in the world! Also, one of the oldest living trees! Forms a very large evergreen of soft feathery green needles. Thick bark is reddish-brown with a fiborous texture and is deeply furrowed. Can reach 300’+ in the wild. Grows 18′ high by 7′ wide in a 10 year period.

Native to the coast of California & Oregon.

Special Notes

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Must be planted in a well protected area out of the prevailing winter winds.

Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.

Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
