Virginia Pine - Wate's Golden
A semi-dwarf Virginia Pine which turns golden in winter! Long needles are dull green during summer months. Just like the species, the pine cones exhibit stiff spiny prickles. Irregular, broadly open, pyramidal. Grows 6′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated as a seedling selected by William Bennett, Virginia in the 1960s.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
