Colorado Spruce - Straw
An irregular, semi-dwarf Colorado Spruce forming a pyramid. Golden-white new spring growth flushes, mimicking the colouration of straw. The growth matures to a more lighter greyish-green but still retaining a yellow hue even throughout winter. Grows 6-8′ high by 3-4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Rarafolia Nursery, Pennsylvania in 1992.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
