Dawn Redwood - Bonsai
A dwarf weeping Dawn Redwood. Short bluish-green needles on cascading branches with pendent stem tips. Foliage turns orangy-bronze in fall before shedding. Bark is brown and spongy. Grows 3′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Seedling selected by Dr. John Kuser of Rutgers University, New Jersey from seed obtained from China in 1992.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers moist slightly acidic soils. Able to withstand swampy soil conditions.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
