Silver Fir - Weeping
A semi-dwarf weeping Silver Fir which requires staking. Strongly pendulous branches that are often recurved and have dark green needles. Let mound on the ground or stake to desired height. If staked, grows 8′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Seedling found at Godefroy's Nursery, France around 1835.
Special Notes
Exposure: Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming only when needed.
