An unusual semi-dwarf Chinese Juniper. Forms a very artistic, broadly upright habit with twisted sprays of dark green foliage and light blue berries. Often seen planted in Los Angeles. Grows 6′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Originated at Yokohama Nursery of Japan before 1920.

Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Likes slightly acidic.
Maintenance: If desired, trim to shape by shearing/pruning during spring till July.
