Fargesia sp. ‘Rufa’
Bamboo - Green Panda
One of the most popular, cold-hardy clumping Bamboo. Culms, (max 1cm in diameter) showcase orange-red or dark shrimp-pink sheaths when young. Culms arch outwards to give it a graceful appearance. Expect it to reach 6-8′ high once established, making it shorter than other clumping types.

Parentage unknown. Introduced from Gansu, China in 1995.
