Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of most soils. Avoid bone-dry soils. They enjoy their old leaves being left on the ground as a natural mulch/fertilizer.
Maintenance: Remove old culms which do not leaf out by late spring.
Due to its large size, its leaves are often used to wrap around food when cooking similar to a banana plant leaf.
