European Beech - Fernleaf
A large growing European Beech which is a beautiful selection displaying finely cut fern-like leaves. These lustrous dark green leaves turn golden-brown in fall. Grows 50′ high by 40′ wide.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced by Conard Loddiges and Sons Nursery of England in 1804.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
