Vine Maple - Baby Buttons
NATIVAR – Possibly the smallest of all the Vine Maples! Tiny chartreuse leaves emerge in spring with an orange hue. Leaves mature to a solid light green by summer and change to bright yellows and oranges duirng the fall. Grows 3′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a witch's broom along the I-205 highway. Introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Protected from the hot mid-day sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
