Chinese Flowering Dogwood - Temple Jewel
A lightly variegated Chinese Flowering Dogwood. New spring foliage emerges dark green with an irregular subtle yellow central blotch. Foliage matures to dark green by summer and changes to crimson red in the fall. Spring white bracts (flowers) are edged in green. Grows 20′ high and wide.

Origin
Originated as chance seedling from Cornus kousa 'Milky Way' around 1977.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done in the spring right after the flowers finish. Do not trim summer or afterwards as, you will be removing next springs flower buds.
