NATIVAR – A large, extremely narrow Nootka Cypress. Lacy-green foliage held on pendulous branches which hug the main leader. Grows 10′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Originated as a sport on Chamaecyparis nootkatensis 'Pendula'. Found by Mr. Van den Akker of Washington.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Tolerant of various well draining soils, preferring slightly acidic.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
