Eastern Redbud - Lavender Twist®
NATIVAR – A weeping Eastern Redbud. Rosy lavender-pink pea-like flowers cover bare pendulous stems in early spring before foliage. New light-green heart-shaped foliage matures darker green by summer and turns yellow in fall. Grows 5-8′ high by 8′ wide.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Seedling selected by Cornelia L. Covey of New York before 1994. Introduced by Brotzman's Nursery of Ohio.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun. Shelter from winter winds.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay or very sandy dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning to shape right after flowering. Remove dead wood in early spring.
