
Acer palmatum ‘Yugure’
Japanese Maple - Twilight
A very old variety of Japanese Maple. Medium to large leaves emerge crimson in the spring, slowly changing to a more rusty tone. By summer, the foliage takes on more green hues. In the fall, the leaves change to a combination of orange, yellow and red. Grows 8′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Listed in Japan since 1710.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
