Japanese Full Moon Maple - Green Spreading
A low spreading Full Moon Maple! Large deeply divided leaves are similar to Acer palmatum dissectum along with the plants overall cascading style. Light green spring leaves turn a dark green by summer and transition in fall to golden-orange and deep red colourations. Grows 2′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Chance seedling from Acer japonicum 'Aconitifolium', selected by Ed Wood and introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
