Japanese Full Moon Maple - Rising Sun
A Full Moon Maple with very large leaves! Up to 8″ wide leaves emerge green in spring and last through summer. These large leaves give it a tropical look and transition to a spectrum of colours in the fall including reds, oranges and yellows. Vigorous, grows 12-15′ high by 8′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Introduced at Iseli Nursery in Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
