Acer palmatum ‘Taiyo nishiki’
Japanese Maple - Big-leaved Brocade
One of the few variegated Japanese Maples with yellow variegation. Small new spring leaves emerge with creamy-yellow and pink variegation. By summer the pinks fade to bring out shades of white and green to go with the lasting yellow shades. In the fall, foliage transitions to spectacular oranges and reds. Upright, grows 8′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.
