Japanese Full Moon Maple - Giant Moon
The very large leaves of this Full Moon Maple emerge light green in the spring and transition to a dark green by summer. Fall turns the foliage into yellows and reds. Purplish-red flowers can be occasionally seen as a nice contrast against the green foliage. Grows 8′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Discovered and introduced by Buchholz Nursery, Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
