Oliver Japanese Maple - Hot Blond
A stunning, hybrid Japanese Maple! New spring foliage emerges golden-yellow edged with orange. By summer the leaves are fully yellow intensifying with time. Fall foliage is a fiery red and can last into December! Strong and vigorous, grows 10-12′ high by 8′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Believed to be a chance hybrid between Acer oliverianum and a golden Acer palmatum. Found and introduced by Mr. Maple, North Carolina. Named after, Matt's wife.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
