A lesser known Magnolia. Rich purple-pink tulip shaped flowers have a paler pink inside. These flowers appear around the same time as the spring foliage or just shortly before and are between 6″- 11″ wide! Outer petals tend to roll inwards. Dark green spring and summer leaves turn yellow in the fall. Grows 30′ high by 15′ wide.
