
Fagus sylvatica ‘Marmor Star’
European Beech - Marmor Star
A spectacular variegated dwarf European Beech. Dark green leaves first appear in spring. However, during the second foliage flush, the leaves are mottled almost completely white! Foliage turns yellow-brown in fall. Grows 15′ high by 10′ wide.

Origin
Seedling of Fagus sylvatica 'Marmorata'. Found by G. Doing of Germany in 1992.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
