
Fagus sylvatica ‘Bicolor Sartini’
European Beech - Bicolor Sartini
A medium-growing variegated European Beech. Light green wavy leaves are edged with yellow having more yellow on the upper tips of the leaves. The yellow colouration fades to a limy-green by summer and the leaves turn golden yellow in fall. Grows 40′ high by 25′ wide.

Origin
Originated as a sport of Fagus sylvatica 'Purpurea Tricolor'. Found at Sartini Nursery, Italy in 1995.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to early August.
