Trident Maple
A smaller growing Maple tree most commonly used for bonsai. Small 3-lobed new leaves emerge a bronzy-purple and mature to a glossy green by summer. Fall is an array of colours including: red, yellow and orange. Bark exfoliates with age. Leaves cling onto tree longer than most often not falling till late autumn or early winter. Grows 8′ high and wide in 10 year period.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Tolerant of various soils but prefers a well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
