Chinese Elm - Catlin
A dwarf Chinese Elm. Forms a compact mound of small, dark green leaves which can remain evergreen if the winter is mild enough. Smooth bark exfoliates with age. Grows 4-5′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated as a sport, selected by John Catlin of California in 1953.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
