NATIVAR – A semi-dwarf Canadian Hemlock. Forms a narrow pyramid habit of ascending branches with dark green fernlike needles. Grows 6′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Recorded by Beissner of Germany in 1891.
Special Notes
Exposure: Part Sun to Full Shade.
Soil: Prefers moist, well draining, acidic soils. Dislikes heavy compacted clay and dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
