Littleleaf Linden - Winter Orange

A coral-bark Littleleaf Linden tree! This densely branched, compact Linden, has the typical green leaves that turn yellow in the fall. However, the bark, especially the younger twigs turn orange-red which are distinctly noticeable during the winter months. Rounded habit, growing 25′-30′ high by 20′-25′ wide.

Parentage unknown. Selected in 1977 by the J. Mouws Nursery, Netherlands from wild seedlings.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.

Soil: Adaptable to various soils.

Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
