Yew - English - Columnar Golden
A female, semi-dwarf, golden columnar English Yew. Needles emerge golden yellow on this narrow upright, maturing to dark green with age. Requires at least half a day of sun for good colouration. Grows 6′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Recorded by Sénéclauze in 1867.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Full Shade. Must be planted in a well protected area out of the prevailing winter winds.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Dislikes constantly wet soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
