A dwarf Japanese Umbrella Pine forming a tight cone shape of short glossy dark green needles. Needles take on a bronzy-tinge during winter months. Grows 2.5′ high by 1′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Seedling selected by G.D. Böhlje Nursery of Germany in 1980.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light. Must be planted in a well protected area out of the prevailing winter winds.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
