Schwerin's Pine - Wiethorst
A semi-dwarf Schwerin’s Pine which is a hybrid between Pinus strobus and Pinus wallichiana. Forms an irregular upright habit of long, fine light-green needles giving a soft appearance. Also cones at a very young age. Grows 5′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils. Intolerant to salt.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
