Japanese Black Pine - Ondai
A semi-dwarf Japanese Black Pine noted for its corky bark, much more than the species. This makes it perfect for bonsai! Bright-green needles are somewhat long. Grows 6-8′ high by 4-5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Originated in Japan.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various well drained soils which are slightly acidic. Salt tolerant.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
