A dwarf, upright Japanese Black Pine. Very dense with short, dark-green needles, contrast with white buds. Conical, grows 4′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Originated in Japan before 1976.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various well drained soils which are slightly acidic. Salt tolerant.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
