
Abies concolor
White Fir
A large growing Fir with beautiful bluish-green needles top and bottom. Cones emerge greenish-purple and mature brown and are 7-12cm long. Often used as Christmas Trees. Pyramidal, grows 10′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Native to Western USA and Northern Mexico.
Special Notes
Exposure: Prefers full sun to partial shade.
Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
Maintenance: Selective trimming only when needed.
