A dwarf, irregular Japanese Black Pine. Short, light green needles on horizontally upright branches. Develops multiple white buds. Grows 3′ high by 5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Originated from Japan. Listed by Valavanis in 1976.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various well drained soils which are slightly acidic. Salt tolerant.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
