NATIVAR – A dwarf, very slow growing Eastern White Pine forming a tight bun. Dark green needles with a habit similar to ‘Horsford’ but having shorter needles. Grows 1-2′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Originated by Greg Williams of Vermont before 1988.

Special Notes

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.

Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils. Intolerant to salt.

Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
