NATIVAR – A large upright, open, Eastern White Pine featuring twisted needles, branches and trunk. Blue-green needles are fluffy and measure 5-8cm long. Grows 15′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Originated in Seneca Park of Rochester, New York before 1932.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils. Intolerant to salt.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
