A semi-dwarf Japanese White Pine with very short silvery-green needles. Narrow, upright with an open form. Grows 8′ high by 4′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Listed as early as 1890.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
