Limber Pine - Vanderwolf's Pyramid
NATIVAR – A large growing Limber Pine forming a compact pyramidal shape. Blue-green needles are twisted. Dense when young, however, due to its quick growing nature, candling is strongly recommended when older, otherwise it can become quite open. Grows 15-20′ high by 8′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Found as a seedling by Rein Vanderwolf. Introduced by John Vermeulen and Son Inc. of New Jersey in 1972.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
