NATIVAR – A dwarf Lodgepole Pine that forms a globose shape with irregular upright branches. Very short dark green needles. Grows 3′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated by Jon Spaan of Washington in 1950.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
