Colorado Blue Spruce - Montgomery
A dwarf Colorado Blue Spruce. Starting off as a globe shape when young, eventually obtaining a leader with age to become a globose-pyramid in shape. Very compact with powdery-blue needles. Grows 5′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Original seedling selected at Eastern Nursery, Massachusetts before 1934. Later, obtained and introduced by Col. R.H. Montgomery of Connecticut .

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
