Oriental Spruce - Early Gold
A semi-dwarf, pyramidal Oriental Spruce which new foliage emerges bright yellow, two weeks sooner than the similar ‘Aurea’. This yellow colouration also holds on longer before maturing green. Grows 7′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Found as a mutation on Picea orientalis 'Aurea' by Konijn of the Netherlands before 1972.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
