White Spruce - McConnal's Gold
NATIVAR – A dwarf White Spruce with golden new spring foliage that fades to green with a hint of yellow remaining. In addition, small red cones develop creating a wonderful contrast. Forms a nice full, pyramidal tree. Grows 4′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Discovered by Joe Stupka who found it growing in a Christmas Tree Farm owned by Dick McConnell, Pennsylvania in 1985.

Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers slightly acidic soils.
