Metasequoia glyptostroboides ‘Bizzarger’
Dawn Redwood - Bizzarger
A semi-dwarf and very bizzare looking Dawn Redwood. Irregular, contorted branching in all directions with irregular and twisted foliage. Green needles turn bronzy-orange in fall before shedding. Very dark and spongy bark. Grows 5′ high by 2.5′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Seedling selected by Bill Barger of Ohio in early 2000s.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers moist slightly acidic soils. Able to withstand swampy soil conditions.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
