Tulip Tree - Aureo Variegata
NATIVAR – A variegated Tulip Tree! Leaves emerge green with an irregular broad yellow margin in the spring. The yellow variegation dulls a bit by summer before the entire leaf transforms into a nice yellow during the fall. Typical tulip flowers appear in late spring. Grows 70′ high by 40′ wide.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated in Germany around 1865. First introduced into North America in 1986 by Monrovia Nursery under the name 'Majestic Beauty'.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers moist soils; dislikes dry conditions.
