Acer circinatum ‘Pacific Fire’

Acer circinatum ‘Pacific Fire’

Vine Maple - Pacific Fire

NATIVAR – A coral bark Vine Maple! Small leaves emerge orange in the spring with reddish veins and transition to a light green colour by summer. By fall, the foliage transitions to a golden-yellow with hints of red and orange. The outstanding feature of this maple is of course its red bark which shines during the winter months, in the warmer summer months, the bark fades to a more light yellow-orange. The best part, unlike coral-bark Japanese Maple varieties, this Vine Maple is not sensitive to sudden temperature changes so tissue damage is not likely to happen. Bushy, grows 8′ high by 6′ wide in a 10 year period.
