A dwarf European Larch which forms a nice rounded habit of soft green needles on short stems. Needles turn yellow in fall before they shed. A very prolific seeder, which many cultivars have arose from. Grows 4′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Found as a witch's broom by Randy Dykstra of Illinois in 1980.

Special Notes

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.

Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Prefers moist slightly acidic soils. 

Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed from spring to July.
