Red Cedar (Juniper) - Taylor
NATIVAR – A large growing upright Red Cedar (Juniper). Forms a tall, narrow columnar form of green foliage. Apparently resistant to cedar-apple rust. Grows 15′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Found as a sport on Juniperus virginiana in Taylor, Nebraska in 1978. Introduced by Nebraska Statewide Arboretum.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Likes slightly acidic.
Maintenance: If desired, trim to shape by shearing/pruning during spring till July.
