NATIVAR – A large growing, columnar Red Cedar (Juniper). Tall narrow, upright form of bright blue-green foliage. More compact and darker colour than the similar ‘Skyrocket’. Grows 12′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Seedling selected by Pine Grove Nurseries of Pennsylvania in 1949.

Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Likes slightly acidic.
Maintenance: If desired, trim to shape by shearing/pruning during spring till July.
