Cornus x ‘Variegated Stellar Pink’
Hybrid Flowering Dogwood - Variegated Stellar Pink®
A wonderful variegated Hybrid Flowering Dogwood with pink flowers. Just like its parent, ‘Stellar Pink’, this dogwood features green leaves with white margins giving it a wonderful variegation. Abundant pink bracts (flowers) occur in mid-to-late spring. Deepness of pink is dependent of spring temperatures. Foliage turns shades of reds and purples in the fall in conjunction to its variegation. Virtually little to no fruit production. Grows 23′ high by 18′ wide.

Origin
Found as a mutation on Cornus x 'Stellar Pink'. Found by Dennie Hill of Tennessee and introduced by Rutgers University in 2014.

Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done in the spring right after the flowers finish. Do not trim summer or afterwards as, you will be removing next springs flower buds.
